First cause, sugar.
The added sugar is one of the main reasons for this hecatomb.
It is considered to be the world's number one drug!
The WHO recommends limiting sugar consumption to 25 grams per day, i.e. six teaspoons for a ratio of 2,000 calories. A can of soda is three times this recommended daily standard (18 teaspoons)!
Let's not talk about all those sugars added in preserves, pre-packaged dishes, cold cuts,...
The second cause is the contamination of our food products,
The WHO attributes 5 million deaths to the consequences of the massive use of chemicals in agriculture.
Every year, 140 million tonnes of chemicals are released.
Not to mention the abusive use of antibiotics, especially in animal husbandry. It is estimated that half of the world's production of antibiotics ends up on our plates ...
The third cause is the boom in food intolerances or allergies.
Globally, 80% of the population over 7 years of age is lactose intolerant.
Sudden changes in eating behaviour within a few generations have led to forms of rejection by the body (gluten intolerance, nuts, etc.).
Avoiding deficiencies
Did you know that a vitamin and mineral deficiency is an aggravating factor in burn-out? Conversely, a vitamin and mineral supplement can promote well-being at work while strengthening the body's defences?
Table 1. Average deficiencies in women and men for B vitamins (B1, B2, B9 and B12), Mg and coQ10 with associated symptoms (B vitamins in general).
80% of people are lacking in magnesium, vitamin D, B1, B2, B6, B9, B12, the body's 1st source of energy and the 1st factor of depression.
