Definition

The EPA concentration is of great interest in the membrane fluidity of many cells and in particular of red blood cells. EPA is a type 3 prostaglandin precursor, which reduces the risk of platelet aggregation and lowers blood pressure if it is caused by a constriction of the blood system (vasodilator effect). The addition of mixed natural tocopherols ensures product stability.

No known effects at the doses indicated. Not recommended in case of blood diseases (hemophilia). Omega-3 fatty acids could influence the action of oral anticoagulants. In this case, administer only under supervision. Stop taking omega-3 10 days before surgery.
